It is difficult to write in another language.
I am trying to practice my writing skills in Spanish and English. I am a Portuguese speaker, and I have been fluent in English and Spanish since a long time ago.
But, writing in an elegant form is not easy. To be understood and also to teach or make a presentation is ok. I have been doing this the last years. I have known I need to write more :(
For example, when I was writing a Spanish academic article, I preferred to make the draft first in Portuguese! Thereafter, I translated and made the arrangements.
The app “LanguageTool” is wonderful. I have had the premium version since 2022.
Maybe this blog could be a way to improve these skills.
